Our team is the reason for our continued success. They are dedicated to helping others and have a variety of unique skills and experiences. We’ve taken the time to provide their bios below. Get to know them before you visit our clinic.

Sandeep Marahar

Registered Physiotherapist

Sandeep Marahar completed her Physiotherapy degree in India in 2004, and moved to Canada in 2005. She specializes in Neurological and Orthopaedic conditions or injuries. She is also trained in manual therapy with Mulligan Concept and Rocktape Kinesiology Taping. She uses different treatment techniques according to specific problems. Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and is a Registered Physiotherapist with College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. When she’s not busy helping others, Sandeep enjoys painting, long bicycle rides, and spending time with her children.

Purnima Monga

Registered Physiotherapist

Purnima Monga is a proficient physiotherapist who graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, India in 2012. She later specialized in Neurology by completing Post Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation (PGDNR) from Apollo Medvarsity in 2014 and post-graduation with Master of Physiotherapy (Neurology) from India in 2017.

She has worked in diverse clinical settings, such as outpatient orthopedic, musculoskeletal clinics and hospital-based pediatric, neurological and rehab physiotherapy facilities. She truly loves her work and believes in evidence-based clinical practice with a refined approach to recovery. She is empathetic, purpose-driven and strives to provide the highest quality of care to her patients.

She is a zealous reader and fondly indulges in poetry writing in her free time. Her works of poetry and fiction have been published in a few International Anthologies.

Leena Elizabeth Kuriakose

Registered Physiotherapist

Leena has over 10 years with a wide range of clinical experience in the field of Physiotherapy, treating all kinds of cases in the fields of Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Neurology, sports, pain and other rehabilitation conditions. She graduated in 2012 from the Kerala University of Health Science (India) with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.

She has worked in many capacities as a physiotherapist, which includes: team physiotherapy for various sports and events; private clinics, community work, conduct rural camps and long-term care centers as a PTA. Leena strongly believes in empowering her patients through an evidence-based approach by education, preventive techniques and “hands-on” approach with her treatments including a personalized exercise program allows her to achieve a successful outcome in the patient’s recovery process.

Leena enjoys her free time with family, traveling, trekking, kayaking, cooking and photography.

Sushma Kulkarni

Resident Physiotherapist

Sushma is an ambitious and passionate Resident Physiotherapist who takes a holistic approach to wellness. Her focus is to learn and apply new techniques and tools to provide the highest-quality care for her patients. Sushma’s clinical interests reside in providing care to patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Sushma is keen to engage and work with pediatrics having neuro development delays.

Sushma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Karnataka (India).

When she is not working she enjoys cooking, sketching, and going out with her family.

Lekha Nair is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in 2015.

She is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario.
Her specialties include Swedish massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.
She has successfully completed the Cupping Course from Neuromuscular Cupping Therapy and also has a certificate in Thai Stem Massage from Thai Massage Toronto.
Lekha believes that massage therapy can help patients minimize pain and reach a higher level of health and wellness which will bring a positive change in her clients’ lives.
Lekha is very excited to continue her massage education and to add other modalities and techniques to her range of abilities.
Lekha enjoys her free time with family and friends. She is also passionate about gardening, cooking and dancing.
