Do you treat MVA and what you need for MVA?

Yes, we treat MVA. At Westwood Physiotherapy and Wellness, we are registered with FISCO (Financial Services Commission of Ontario). FISCO is the government agency that is responsible for automobile insurance companies. Being registered with FISCO gives our facility the ability to provide treatment for MVA patients. This way, we can receive funding directly from the automobile insurance company for the services you require.

Do you need doctor's referral for Physiotherapy and Massage therapy services?
Technically, our physiotherapists are primary care providers. However, various extended health insurance plans may require a referral from your doctor to reimburse you for the cost. Check with your insurance and determine what is appropriate for you and your situation.
What can I expect during my first Physiotherapy visit?

During your first physiotherapy appointment, you will undergo a complete assessment. This involves questions regarding your condition and pain levels. Your physiotherapist will also perform various tests to determine your strengths, weaknesses, and range of motion limitations. Some special tests may also be performed, depending on your injury or compliant.
